The NYU Langone Health Surgical Technology Program is accepting applications.

Admissions

To apply, please provide the following information:

• a completed application with a personal essay of why you are good candidate for the surgical technology program
• an associate’s degree in any discipline

All employees of NYU Langone must obtain clearance from the human resources workforce development program to be considered for the NYU Langone Health Surgical Technology Program.

Applicants must possess:

• manual dexterity
• good communication skills
• 20/20 or 20/30 vision with or without corrective lenses
• the ability to stand for lengthy periods

All college transcripts must be sent officially from the degree institution.

Applicants who meet these program criteria will be called in for a formal interview with the admissions committee before final consideration of admission. You must obtain medical clearance from NYU Langone before you can begin our program.

Program Tuition and Fees

The current tuition for our program is $25,000. Tuition includes CPR and certification for the national exam through the National Board of Surgical Technology Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).

Students are required to buy their own books for the program.
